Description
The inboard end batten adjuster – A.951-10 – has been developed alongside one of the worlds leading sailmakers. The inboard batten adjuster is designed to sit on the luff of the sail, up by the mast where the wind is already turbulent. This allows the sailmaker to streamline the trailing edge of the sail by removing the batten hardware usually found in the batten pockets. The A.951-10 will take an 11mm batten and is easily fixed to the sail using the four nuts and bolts provided. Once installed the batten can easily be tensioned by using the thumbwheel. The wheel also includes small holes so a tool can be poked in and used as a lever to gain even more tension when it is beyond thumbing. The adjustment range is 10mm.Made from glass-filled nylon and weighing only 33 grams the A.951-10 is a simple yet effective performance-enhancing product for any sailmaker.
