50mm Quint Block with Ratchet, Cam Cleat and Becket. This block has been developed for use as a mainsheet block on performance catamarans. The middle sheave is a ratchet cassette with the other four sheaves featuring our dynamic bearing technology for ultimate friction-free performance. This fairlead allows the user to “play” the mainsheet with minimal friction, but when necessary guiding the line into the cam cleat with ease. Adjustable Cam Cleat – The A..76 cam cleat is mounted to an adjustable arm to allow 25 degrees of adjustment at 12.5-degree intervals.Becket – A removable becket allows the termination of a spliced mainsheet or the addition of an extra block to increase the purchase system. For maximum performance, we recommend pairing this ratchet block with 7mm Excel Marstron Plus. Swivel Lock – The swivel can be locked in 90-degree orientations with the supplied shackle lock moulding. Alternatively, remove the moulding around the shackle to let the block spin freely. For quick release, we recommend replacing the standard shackle with the WD-2293 snap shackle.The 40mm block pictured is not included.
